Resources
All of the slide sets, my notes, and example LaTeX documents will be posted on the GitHub for this site.
As you learn $\LaTeX$, you may find some of these resources helpful. I'm going to update this any time I find new ones.
Books
-
"$\LaTeX$: A Document Preparation System", Leslie Lamport. Second Edition, 1994. Addison-Wesley, Inc.
-
"The $\LaTeX$ Companion", Frank Mittelbach, Michel Goossens, Johannes Braams, David Carlisle and Chris Rowley. Second Edition, 2004. Addison-Wesley, Inc.
Websites
- CTAN
-
CTAN is the Comprehensive TeX Archive Network. It's the place to find new packages to do things, or to find official documentation on any package.
- TeX Stack Exchange
-
A part of the venerable Stack Exchange network, this is a question-answer site with plenty of answered questions, including others that you may come across.
- The LaTeX Wikibook
-
This is one of the best online resources. It's an excellent introduction, and has immense range. However, it's long, and I don't find that its presentation is the best.
